Prevention Study

The National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP) is a clinical trials cooperative group supported by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

The Study of Tamoxifen and Raloxifene, or STAR, is one of the largest breast cancer prevention studies ever. This five year study aims to recruit 22,000 volunteers at more than 400 centers across the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
