Computed Tomography • Head and Neck

These scans are usually being performed for headaches, question of stroke, question of mass or tumor, or other neurological symptoms. The patient's head is placed in a headrest and the head enters the gantry or donut first. Intravenous contrast is often given but oral contrast is not needed for these studies.
