This weight management level is an eight-week program targeting healthier lifestyle choices from a nutritional and exercise approach.
Balance is for those seeking minimal weight loss, to maintain their current weight, or to learn healthy lifestyle habits.
The program includes weekly clinic visits to check weight and blood pressure. Participants also attend a weekly class that focuses on either exercise, nutrition or behavior.
Balance program participants meet with an exercise physiologist or a certified fitness trainer for three exercise sessions per week. A registered dietitian helps participants plan healthy meals.
