Satisfaction Ratings

In its 2008 annual Hospital Profile, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois found that 95 percent of the physicians responding to its survey recommend DMH to their friends and family members. And in overall satisfaction, Blue Cross Blue Shield found that 91.2 percent of patients would recommend DMH to friends or relatives and rated the quality of care as exceptional or very good.

In 2006, research by the Centers for Disease Control found that the national average in hospital emergency rooms was 56 minutes to see a physician. In September 2008, the average door-to-doc time at DMH was an astounding 16.6 minutes.
