Pre-placement Physicals
For new employees, the physician advises the employee and company management of the medical suitability of an individual to a particular job. The physician assesses the health status of the employee and determines whether that individual can perform the job in a safe and effective manner, with reasonable accommodations being made by the employer for any disabilities the employee may have.
A pre-placement physicial may include, but is not limited to, the following:
- General Physical (height, weight, vitals, medical history and physical examination)
- Functional Capacity Evaluation
- Pulmonary Function test
- CBC without Differential
- Blood Chemistry Profile
- Audiogram
- Drug Testing
- Cholinesterase
