Aug. 3, 2009...The new DMH Millennium Pain Center opened Aug. 3, on the Decatur Memorial Hospital campus in the West Hay Medical Center in Suite 100.
The new pain management center is staffed by Atiq Rehman, M.D; Ramsin Benyamin, M.D.; and Ricardo Vallejo, M.D., Ph.D. All three physicians have subspecialty training in pain management and are internationally acclaimed in the field of pain management.
Since every person tolerates pain differently, the DMH Millennium Pain Center takes a personalized approach to help manage acute, chronic and cancer-related pain.
The center works with a multidisciplinary team of pain management specialists, physical and occupational therapists, registered nurses and psychologists offering the most advanced pain management techniques in the Midwest. The center specializes in back pain and spine disorders and minimally invasive therapies to correct them. The physicians also treat headache, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, whiplash, diabetic neuropathy and many other pain disorders.
The new DMH Millennium Pain Center is the sixth site of the prestigious Millennium Pain Center with locations in Bloomington, Normal, Pontiac, Chicago and Barcelona, Spain.
